Three Big Rivers Workshop
Three Big Rivers (TBR) is offering an exciting, hands-on half-day workshop which will inspire our next generation to work on country and help protect our most treasured, and vulnerable Great Barrier Reef.
With the knowledge and guidance of our experienced team, you will learn about some of the outstanding work that TBR have completed and have the chance to contribute to this meaningful work by helping to build Porous Check Dams (Leaky Weirs).
These structures are designed to control erosion and help heal the landscape by slowing the amount of water run off occurring. The goal is to try to retain the sub soil from ending up in our beautiful Great Barrier Reef.
So come join TBR in working towards a better environment for out next generation.
This workshop is only available for students in grades 10 to 12.
