We’re so excited to welcome back Karen Knowles to the Townsville Civic Theatre as she presents a special Christmas concert!
One of Australia’s most popular singers, star of the musical Big River and lead singer with The Seekers in the early 1990s, Karen started her career on Young Talent Time. Her first smash hit single ‘Why Won’t You Explain’ achieved gold-selling status, and was followed by the Platinum award-winning album ‘You Are the Reason’. Her second album, also gained gold status, making Karen one of Australia’s most successful female recording artists. Karen recently released her 7th studio album Solid Ground and 8th studio album Sanctuary.
Well known for her Carols and Christmas repertoire join Karen for a wonderful selection of her hits, standards, new music and your favourite Christmas songs as she returns to Townsville to celebrate the Christmas season with you. We look forward to you being with us as Karen spreads joy, peace, unity and connection through song - you’ll be uplifted by her music into the Spirit of Christmas.
