Facilities
The leisure centre has 4 pools with plenty of shade:
- 50m, eight lane, heated and shaded pool
- heated programs pool
- beach pool with play features
- fenced toddler pool.
Other facilities at the centre include:
- water slides
- a kiosk with swimming merchandise and food and beverage
- change rooms with toilets and showers (disability access)
- BBQ and picnic tables
- a grassy recreation area
- plenty of on-site parking.

- Learn to Swim (6pm on Monday to Friday and 12pm on Saturday)
- Junior – Senior Squad
- New Swim Club – Townsville Lightning Swim Club
- Aqua Aerobics (8:30am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 6pm on Monday and Wednesday and 9am on Public Holidays)
Operating Hours
The centre is open all year round and lifeguards are on duty during opening hours, seven days a week.
Facility Hours
- Monday to Wednesday: 5:30am – 7pm
- Thursday to Friday: 5:30am – 6pm
- Saturday: 7am to 4pm
- Sunday and Public Holidays: 9am to 4pm
Water Slide Hours (During School Term)
- Monday to Friday: 3:30pm to 5:30pm
- Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays: 9am to 3:30pm

- Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm
- Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays: 9am to 3:30pm
Notification will be given for any short closures. These hours are also subject to change during the cooler months between June and August.
Pool hire bookings are welcome. Contact the lessee to arrange bookings.
For school visits, please contact the centre or enquire at the admission counter.
Children (12 and younger) must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) at all times.
