Sherriff Park
General Information
The parkland is part of the Ross River Parkway and is a major recreational node along the river with barbecues, junior and senior combination playgrounds, space net and exercise equipment.
Whilst Sherriff Park has always been known for its exercise equipment, in 2009 as part of the Ross River Parkway project this exercise circuit was given a major face lift with the old Kopper log equipment being removed and replaced with 13 new pieces of exercise equipment. The new pieces of equipment include rowing machine, shoulder press, cross trainer, ezy rider, stepper and more. The equipment is placed in a circuit pattern with a sign at each station with directions for correct use.
Note: the barbecues located in Sherriff Park are electric barbecues.
