General Information

Col Campbell Park is a large, wide-open green space with plenty of room for running around.

The park features a playground with a slide, climbing equipment, swings and a spring bouncer. The area is protected with softfall rubber and a shade sail.

The park also features a quarter basketball court, shaded seating and a drinking fountain.

Name History

The park is named in honour of Colin Campbell for 36 years of dedicated service to the people of Townsville. Mr Campbell served 28 years as Town Clerk.
