Apex Park

General Information

Apex Park is public focal point for usable community space along the Upper Ross River.

The park is in an ecologically sensitive area on the banks of the Ross River and was designed to provide the local community with access to waterfront activities in an environmentally sensitive space.

The project includes an elevated walkway with river viewing platform and lighting, a fixed jetty, floating rowing pontoon, soft and hard landscaping, roadworks, bitumen car park facilities, artwork and signage, play equipment, irrigation and stormwater.

It also has an off-leash dog area that is fenced on the park side and is unfenced on the river side, allowing open access to the Ross River for dog swimming. The facility is supported by seating areas and nearby parking.
