Rubber Softfall Recovery Works
Council is carrying out the replacement of rubber softfall on designated playground surfaces in Woodbine Park, Annandale, which were affected by the recent weather event.
This recovery project is part of Council’s maintenance plan, which focuses on keeping our community assets and infrastructure in good condition and supporting regional growth.
Works will include:
- removal of the damaged rubber softfall and replacement with new softfall
- minor concrete work matched in neatly to existing infrastructure.
If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:
- construction machinery and vehicle movement
- increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
- temporary closure of the playground asset affected by the works.
This project is proudly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and delivered in partnership with Townsville City Council.
