Projects - Suburban Water Security
Townsville City Council continues its focus on water security with a record $214.9 million invested in critical water infrastructure projects across the city over the 2022/23 financial year. Townsville’s water and waste network consists of reticulation pipelines, pump stations and major trunk line that work together to ensure all properties, and commercial and industrial businesses receive efficient operational water and waste services. This investment in water security will cultivate a thriving, resilient and sustainable community and city for tomorrow.
