City Parking and Closures

Parking is free from 2pm in Townsville City (outside of the Stadium Restricted Parking Area)

Notes about closures:

• Dean Street Carpark is closed from 2pm. Alternative parking is available in Townsville City.
• Lowths Bridge on Stanley Street is closed before and during the game due to pedestrian traffic.

Restricted Parking

Notes about restricted parking:

• Parking in the Stadium Event Parking Area is regulated for one hour before, until one hour after, the advertised start time of an event at the stadium
• If the event is an NRL game, then the parking regulations will apply from one hour before the start time of the main game.
• Fines are issued to owners of vehicles that are parked for longer than the permitted time without a registered permit.

These restrictions apply to on-street parking only, including driveways from the kerb to your property boundary. It does not apply to vehicles parked within your property.

All other parking restrictions – such as 'no standing' zones, taxi zones, bus zones, and disability parking permit zones – continue to apply.
