Townsville Stadium Hotel proposal comes to an end

The proposed development of a Hilton Garden Inn hotel adjacent to the North Queensland Stadium will no longer proceed, after expiry of the development arrangements between Townsville City Council and the developer HHNQ Pty Ltd (part of the Focus Pacific group).

Council will now consider alternative opportunities for this site, and consult with key stakeholders, as part of its strategy for development of the North Queensland Stadium Precinct.
