The 80s come back to life in stellar mix tape musical

Theatre fans should expect big songs, bigger hair, and an unforgettable night of all their favourite 80s hits when Council presents All Fired Up at Townsville Civic Theatre.
This 80s mixed tape musical will hit the stage on Saturday, November 5, and tells the story of Tammy Tooth who is on the brink of a most epic midlife crisis.
An unexpected quirk of fate sends her back in time to come face to face with her 15-year-old self in her teenage bedroom and what follows is a fun journey set to the soundtrack of all the 80s’ greatest hits.
Community and Cultural Development Committee chairperson Ann-Maree Greaney said the show starred the hugely talented trio of Roz Pappalardo, Rachel Terry and Scarlett Terry.
“This show features a live 80s band that is sure to have the fans at Townsville Civic Theatre rocking and grooving along,” Cr Greaney said.
“Townsville residents can dig out their Choose Life shirts or whack on some blue eye shadow and then take a trip down memory lane to this much-loved decade of music in this highly memorable musical experience.”
