Join the man who has been labelled the “finest musical humourist in the world” for the first Morning Melodies show of the season next Wednesday.
David Scheel is bringing his international show Don’t Shoot Me, I’m STILL Only The Piano Player! to the Civic Theatre to kick off Morning Melodies.
Townsville City Council Community and Cultural Development Committee chairperson Ann-Maree Greaney said the show was part of a wider program aimed at forming social connections.
“Morning Melodies is about more than just seeing a live performance, it’s about catching up with friends and enjoying a fun-filled morning out,” Cr Greaney said.
“This show in particular is a great one to see with friends – David Scheel is a powerhouse and he’ll have the audience in stitches with his jokes and in awe with his piano performances.
“To attend this show, you must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or evidence of medical contradiction upon entry, in line with advice provided by Queensland Health.”
Don’t Shoot Me, I’m STILL Only The Piano Player! will be at the Civic Theatre at 11am on Wednesday 16 March 2022.
