More than 1500 people have already experienced the audiovisual spectacular Beauty Rich and Rare as the countdown begins for the exhibition’s final day in Townsville.
Beauty Rich and Rare returned to Australia as part of NAFA COVID Safe following a hugely successful run at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington DC.
The exhibition explores the wonder botanist Sir Joseph Banks felt on his voyage from England to Australia 250 years ago.
Community and Cultural Development Committee chairperson Ann-Maree Greaney said it was an exhibition not to be missed.
“There are only a few days left before Beauty Rich and Rare ends here in Townsville, so make sure you get in to see the breathtaking presentation,” Cr Greaney said.
“This is Australian history like you’ve never seen it before, projected across 20m of panels and narrated by Angela Catterns.”
More than 35 screenings have already sold out, so make sure you book in early to avoid disappointment. The last screening is 6pm at The Ville Resort-Casino, Tuesday 27 October.
