Statement regarding recovery communications

Council is continuing to work closely with QRA who are providing advice and assistance on our funding applications.
Communicating to our residents during the response and the recovery was an utmost priority in the immediate aftermath of the monsoon.
It was essential that Council got this right for the benefit of our community.
Council’s own team was heavily impacted by the monsoon and to help ensure the community was effectively informed we engaged expert support.
