Bluewater Transfer Station closed

The Bluewater Transfer Station has been closed for the rest of today due to a fire that broke out in a bin.
Council's other waste facilities are open as normal and residents are asked to visit them for their free dumping today.
The free dump weekend is on until close of business tomorrow and recycling and green waste is free to dispose of all year round.
Council would like to thank the community for their patience during this time.
Other locations open today are:
- Stuart - last cars through at 5:45pm
- Hervey Range - last cars through at 4:45pm
