Mount Stuart Road being repaired by Council crews

Townsville City Council crews are currently responding to a rock slip on Mount Stuart Road.
There is a lot of debris blocking the road with Council crews working to ensure the area is safe.
Townsville Local Disaster Management Group Chair Mayor Jenny Hill thanked crews for their hard work.
“Council crews have been working to ensure roads are as safe as possible,” Cr Hill said.
“We have been working with staff to ensure crews will be working around the clock and will be available through the weekend.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to each person who has been out in the rain attending to urgent repairs.”
