Waste Facilities now open

Waste facilities at Stuart, Hervey Range and Magnetic Island are now open and will remain open until normal closure times unless it becomes unsafe.

Residents are asked to only visit the dump if it is absolutely necessary to minimise traffic on the road.

Stuart Landfill is open to heavy vehicles and has limited space for cars to access the site.

Two temporary food waste dumps are open at Bunnings Domain Central and North Shore for residents to dispose of food waste. These sites will be open until 6pm today unless deemed unsafe.
