Residents urged to conserve water

Townsville residents are being asked to conserve water due to a pump fault at the Douglas Water Treatment Plant.
Residents are asked to conserve water by limiting their use of washing machines, dishwashers, automatic sprinklers and outdoor hosing.
Council crews are currently working to fix the fault. Council will notify the community as soon as it is fixed.
