Flash flooding warning for Townsville’s northern suburbs

Properties in Black River, Bluewater, Beach Holm, Toolakea, Yabulu, Toomulla, Rollingstone and Bushland Beach areas have experienced intense rainfall on top of already elevated flood levels. This is likely to cause fast moving and rapidly rising water levels leading to flash flooding.
Residents are advised to move to higher ground if concerned.
