Council to establish free service for flood affected residents

Townsville City Council is investigating options to allow residents in flood-affected areas to clean up their properties for free.
However, Council is waiting until flood waters recede to determine the best way to roll out the service.
Council has provided free skip bins for Bluewater residents affected by the flood last week.
Standard fees at the city’s dumps and tips apply.
