Council continues to provide free sand and sandbags

Townsville City Council continues to provide free sand and sandbags at the following locations:
- Bushland Beach Boat Ramp
- Bamford Lane Depot Car Park
- Corner Mt Low Parkway and Bruce Hwy
- Oonoonba Community Centre
- Pallarenda Boat Ramp
- PCYC Rasmussen
- Wulguru Community Centre
Council crews are working to replenish stocks at the following locations:
- Corner Bentley and Nome Road
- Cranbrook Depot Car Park
- Dalrymple Road Depot Car Park
- Bicentennial Park Car Park
- Ross River Dam Car Park
- SES Magnetic Island
- Leichardt Street Car Park
- Lou Litster Park
- Rupertswood General Store
- Yabulu Mobile Garage
Residents are asked to please bring their own shovels to fill their own bags.
