Council crews restore water after fixing burst main on Magnetic Island

Council crews have fixed a broken water main near Hayles Avenue in Arcadia on Magnetic Island.
Water has been restored to homes near the burst water main.
A Townsville City Council spokesman thanked residents living on Hayles Avenue for their patience while repairs occurred.
“Council crews worked as quickly as possible to get the water back on in about 3 hours,” the spokesman said.
“Council would like to thank residents living near Hayles Avenue for their patience while our crews fixed the burst water main.”
