Riverway Pool re-opened

The Riverway pools have been re-opened to the public after being cleared of bacteria that was detected in the water late last week.
Council crews have treated and retested the water over the last couple of days and the water is now safe.
Bacteria was detected during routine testing on Thursday, causing the closure of the Upper and Lower Lagoons, and the toddler pool.
Council has received no reports of illness by the community, but advises any residents that have visited the pools recently and are feeling unwell to visit a doctor.
