Entries open for Neighbour Day competition

Neighbour Day is fast approaching and this year Townsville City Council is holding a competition to support your Neighbour Day event.
Neighbour Day is Sunday 25 March and entries are now open to win $300 to help residents host their own Neighbour Day event.
Community and Cultural Development Committee Chair Cr Colleen Doyle said this is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours and have a fun, family friendly day.
“This is a great way to demonstrate that Townsville is a city full of friendly people, and build a connected community,” Cr Doyle said.
“The theme for this year is about the importance of a supportive neighbourhood is for children and young adults.
“I’d love to see lots of entries for this competition – Council really encourages residents to get involved and host their own events.”
To be eligible for the competition entrants must be a resident of Townsville.
