State of Origin live on the big screen at Riverway

Nothing brings Queenslanders together like State of Origin and Townsville locals will have the chance to watch Game Two on the big screen at Riverway Oval.
Local Councillor Verena Coombe encouraged footy fans and families down to Riverway Oval to watch the must-win game for the Maroons.
“With New South Wales already having one game under their belt, I am sure there will be plenty of passion on the night,” Cr Coombe said.
“I’m sure everyone will be cheering on the Maroons but even those in blue are welcome to come down and watch the game on the big screen for free.
“Riverway Oval will be the place to be for footy fans that love Origin but can’t make it to Game 2.”
In addition to the game on the big screen, the family-friendly includes food and drink vendors. Entry is free, and gates open at 6.30pm for pre-game festivities.
