Events cancelled in preparation for wet weather

Townsville City Council has made the decision to cancel events organised for the weekend, in preparation for the expected wet weather.
The events cancelled include:
- Festive Friday
- Retro Games Night
- Santa on the Sand
- Active4Life Walk
- Free Microchipping Day
The Townsville Local Disaster Management Group (TLDMG) will continue to monitor weather predictions.
Residents are encouraged to go to Council’s Emergency Management Dashboard for any weather updates.
