Carols by Candlelight cancelled due to wet weather

Townsville City Council’s Carols by Candlelight has been cancelled due to the rain.
Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill said she was disappointed residents would miss out on the magic of Carols, but the wet weather is always welcome.
“Carols by Candlelight is a family favourite during the festive season – however the rain is much needed,” Cr Hill said.
“We’d like residents to join us at our other events like North Pole at Northtown and Festive Friday so we can Celebrate Christmas Together.”
