Uncontained opening a massive hit

Around 5000 fans gathered in Strand Park for the Thundamentals and the opening of Uncontained last night.
The event was a huge success with local bands Hear Me Out, Realm City and Vixorcist supporting the Thundamentals and providing live entertainment for the growing audience.
Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill said it was fantastic to see so many people gathered on The Strand for the show.
“There was a huge crowd on The Strand last night enjoying Uncontained and the free Thundamentals performance,” Cr Hill said.
“It was great to see so many young and enthusiastic faces in the audience enjoying the live music and art.
“Last night was definitely a success and it is just the beginning of Festival 2018 – there are plenty of amazing performances and activities to come over the next 10 days.”
Tickets are available now from Council’s website or the Box Office at Townsville Civic Theatre and Riverway Arts Centre.
