Council adds an extra hour for Strand Water Park fun

The Strand Water Park will be open an hour earlier every day after the success of the extended hours over the school holidays.
The park will now be open from 9am to 6pm every day from Monday 16 April.
Division 3 Councillor Ann-Maree Greaney said the decision would be welcome news for local families.
“The community has been making the most of the extended hours over the Easter break which is really great to see,” Cr Greaney said.
“We’ve had a lot of feedback from the community that they’d like to see the extended hours become a permanent thing, so we’ve listened to that feedback.”
