CBD Utilities moves to next stage

Townsville City Council’s CBD Utilities Upgrade continues to progress through the city, with the next stage of works to begin at the Ingham Road and Sturt Street intersection next week.
The project has delivered $31 million of new infrastructure and created 279 jobs since it started in July 2016.
The next stage includes installing a new water trunk main at the Ingham Road and Sturt Street intersection from Monday 23 April to Friday 4 May.
This stage of the project will require a closure of the intersection. Motorists travelling into the city are asked to use alternate routes while these works are carried out
