Northern Beaches Leisure Centre

During the last three years Council has been developing the first stage of the Northern Beaches Leisure Centre to be located at Stockland’s North Shore development at Burdell.
The project is a partnership project with Sport and Recreation Queensland and Stockland developers, costing approximately $5.4 million. The first stage of the facility includes a 50 metre eight lane Olympic swimming pool, toddler's pool with water play features, junior leisure pool, kiosk, and amenities.

Multi-visit passes are available, please contact the Centre.
Children (12 and younger) must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) at all times.
Swimming seasons
The Northern Beaches Leisure Centre is open from September to April each year.
Lifeguards
Lifeguards are on duty during opening hours, seven days a week.

The Northern Beaches Leisure Centre was a joint project between Townsville City Council, Sport and Recreation Queensland, and Stockland.
