Townsville Bulletin Carols by Candlelight 2009
Presented by Townsville City Council
 One of the city's biggest events of the year will be staged at Strand Park at The Strand on December 13, 2009. This is a free event featuring some of the North's best artists performing traditional and some not so traditional Christmas Carols.
There will be food and refreshments available for purchase, state of the art audio visual production, amusements for the kids and a night of incredible music and family fun. The events major sponsor, the Townsville Bulletin, will have safe flame candles available on the night.
Our very special guest artist this year is David Campbell, one of Australia's most respected singers. Also the event has secured local Australian Idol finalists Kim Cooper for her first Carols event.
The event has two sections, our Pre Show featuring up and coming artists and dance troupes followed by the Main Show.
